Ahh, Guilin.. the starting point for exploring the famous karst hills of Guanxi province. Though the city is a bit too touristy, it can be fun as well to observe the hordes of Chinese tourists doing their thing. From where I took this photo of the beautiful lit pagodas, I was surrounded by some 30 people, all of them competing for space to have their picture taken in front of this, and laughing and playing.
