Shenzhen (Guangdong, China)

A few days in one of the newest cities in china, the Special Economic Zone of Shenzhen. Nothing much for sightseeing: new buildings, cars, more buildings and cars. There are some theme parks, with showcase plots for places and peoples in China and the world - even a smaller version of the Eiffel tower!

Now, the people have something: Shenzhen is a melting pot for people from all over China, migrating in search of oportunities to this city now of more than 10-million. It has also an interesting expatriate scene: truly world citizens, who have lived in a few different countries already, seem easy to find among the expats here. I met three: Ola Luis! Oi Osmar! Bonjour Caroline! And so, we can say that indeed China meets world at this city :-)

And the chinese girls here.. I never felt so much checked out! On the bus, on the street, at the restaurant. Zaijian, meimei!
